Medication Aides in Nursing Homes operate under North Carolina rules and statutes for long-term care facilities (skilled nursing and nursing facilities). Below is a list of the state regulations. The list is NOT all inclusive. Please contact the DHSR Nursing Home Licensure Section or the North Carolina Board of Nursing regarding the role of Medication Aides in long-term care facilities.
