Community Colleges should notify DHSR of the individuals who successfully passed the North Carolina state-approved Home Care Specialty Training for Nurse Aides course to be listed in the registry. Community Colleges should include the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry listing number of each individual when notifying DHSR.
There is no expiration date associated with the North Carolina Home Care Specialty Training Registry for Nurse Aides.
There are no renewal requirements associated with the North Carolina Home Care Specialty Training Registry for Nurse Aides.
North Carolina does not list individuals who complete Home Care training by reciprocity, endorsement, or transfer from other states.
