Individuals must be listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry before being added to the North Carolina Home Care Specialty Training for Nurse Aides Registry.
Community Colleges should notify the Division of Health Service Regulation when individuals successfully complete a state-approved training program. They should also provide each individual’s North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry listing number.
There is no registry expiration date or renewal requirement.
North Carolina does not list individuals who complete Home Care training by reciprocity, endorsement, or transfer from other states.
Individuals are responsible for ensuring their name and contact information are current in the registry. To update information, submit the Registry Change Request Form.
